BACKSTAGE COSTUME DRESSER VOLUNTEER

We simply cannot put on our end of year performances without volunteer assistance!

We are requesting BACKSTAGE COSTUME DRESSER VOLUNTEERS. If you are able to assist with this position, please fill out the below form.

Duties include, assisting with costume dressing and general supervision of your child’s dance class.

ALL VOLUNTEERS ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A PHOTOCOPY OF A WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE.

THIS MUST BE RECEIVED PRIOR TO YOUR COSTUME FITTING DAY IN CLASS TO BE ABLE TO ASSIST.

Parent dressing volunteers are still able to watch their child perform from side of stage. You will be shown where to go at the dress rehearsal. Please note that you are not able to sit with your family, you also DO NOT need to purchase a ticket for yourself.

You must attend;

• COSTUME FITTINGS IN CLASS

You will help the DanceWA teachers fit and size costumes of the students in your group. Costume fittings take place during term 3, in a normal class time. Students and families are notified of exact dates early term 3.

• ARRIVE at THEATRE early for a TECH REHEARSAL

Arriving early for a volunteer induction and assist students in a tech rehearsal the day of the performance. – The student and volunteer arrival time is 1 hour and a half before the show commences.

ALL volunteers will receive more information and detailed instructions prior to the performances.
